I took part in Emily’s programme this year as I wanted to get my missing periods back and be at a point where thinking about conception could be an option.

It had been nearly a year since my last period and during this time I suffered from horrific intermittent pain. After many trips to the doctors and hospital visits I was diagnosed with PCOS, told that the pain was probably cyst accidents and that I might also have endometriosis which I am currently waiting on more treatment /investigation for.

I was starting to feel like at 35 children might not be an option for me as I simply wasn't ovulating and experiencing debilitating pain.

Emily’s course was incredibly informative and there was so much that I learnt from food to science and its impact on the body and how we can improve and take control of our health.

After working with Emily I came on my period, after nearly a year and have been tracking my ovulation since. The relief and happiness I felt was overwhelming and I can't thank Emily enough.

If you are having issues with fertility or like myself needed to work on getting periods back, I couldn't recommend Emily's course enough. We were coming up to a year of trying to conceive and I was recommended Emily by a friend. 

Based on various fertility tests there was nothing stopping us from conceiving naturally - but for some reason, it just wasn’t working. I had begun to feel overwhelmed and wanted to take the reigns and try to make some positive changes to our health, so we signed up for Emily’s programme.

Emily was really knowledgeable about both nutrition and lifestyle and explained the science behind things, which really helped us get an understanding of the impact nutrition and well-being can have. Another huge plus was having a really nice little community of people all going through a similar thing.

Throughout the course, Emily was really approachable and also made time for us to answer questions outside the sessions, so we felt really supported.

I was ecstatic that the changes seemed to be working and even more determined the keep up with the new habits I'd built. Little did I know the best was yet to come as the next month ( on Christmas eve no less!) we had our first BFP. I can't thank Emily enough!

I decided to sign up for Emily's programme while waiting for fertility treatment with the NHS. We have been trying to conceive for 15 months after coming off oral contraception.  However, my cycles had not returned during this time due to long-term use (20-plus years).

I was worried as I'm 35 already but due to the current Covid situation the waiting list was extremely long with no appointment in sight, so I wanted to look at ways to improve my and my husband's fertility while we waited. I found Emily online and the group course sounded perfect for us. I really enjoy learning and looking after my health and the course didn’t disappoint. There was a lot of new information to be learnt about diet, exercise, habits, products to use and the environment we live in. I particularly liked the workbooks that let me immerse myself in that week's topic and build habits I could hopefully sustain.

Emily was always helpful, friendly and explained things well.

During the course, I saw improvements in my sleep, energy levels and digestion. At the end of the course, I ovulated for the first time which was a very exciting moment for me. I was ecstatic that the changes seemed to be working and even more determined the keep up with the new habits I'd built.

The cost of the programme was a drop in the ocean compared to IVF so I thought what do I have to lose?

I wasn’t eligible for IVF on the NHS and the cost of treatment made me feel slightly nauseous. When I looked at the odds of getting pregnant via IVF and then at the stats around nutrition improving pregnancy rates, the odds were actually higher for working on nutrition. The cost of the programme was a drop in the ocean compared to IVF so I thought what do I have to lose?
